Pillsbury Hall Rehabilitation

Originally constructed in 1889, Pillsbury Hall is the second-oldest building on the University of Minnesota campus. The building was fully rehabilitated to house the English Department.

The rehabilitation included adding a partial basement, a new tunnel, removal and relocation of the elevator shaft, and strengthening of the existing structure. 

BKBM worked hand in hand with the general contractor as unforeseen conditions arose during the construction process in order to come to a resolution that kept the project within budget and on schedule.
