BKBM provided restoration engineering services for Macalester College’s Old Main Building, a four-story brick and stone masonry structure listed on the National Historic Register. The project focused on preserving the building’s historic character while addressing critical façade and envelope deficiencies.

- Replacement of metal roof caps and installation of new metal parapet caps for improved protection and restoration of original detailing.
- Application of a penetrating sealer to exposed limestone façade for long-term preservation.
