Provided engineering design for the restoration and renovation of a historic mill complex that had survived three devastating fires, 1928, 1991 and 1996, since it was originally built in 1879.

BKBM was retained to design temporary and long-term bracing for nine stories of rubble wall shell and to evaluate the complex for structural integrity and renovation potential for St. Anthony Falls Heritage Center. The new complex houses an Interpretive Center, open and private offices, exhibit spaces, a museum store, classrooms and a cafeteria.
