An interior elevator shaft was added that penetrated the existing concrete pan & joist and waffle floor slabs. Steel framing supports were provided in numerous locations to allow the removal and alteration of existing CMU and concrete walls. Existing concrete buttresses and floor plate slabs were analyzed for new mechanical penetrations.
