Trinity Lutheran is a five acre site located along County Highway 6 in Orono, MN. Site improvements included a 12,000 square foot building addition, expansion of the existing parking lot, and a drive-up access road with covered drop-off area. Civil design included designing a storm sewer and filtration pond to manage stormwater runoff from teh new site improvements. An E/One pressure sanitary sewer service system was also required. Coordination with the City of Orono and a utility easement were necessary since the sewer service used a pipe size less than allowed by the Minnesota Plumbing Code.

The expansion included a two-story Great Hall, an expanded narthex, a glulam framed entry canopy, and several classrooms and meeting rooms. The narthex utilized glulam beams for the roof framing to remain consistent with the adjacent existing framing. The other new spaces utilized precast hollow core plank at the floor with open web steel bar joists and metal deck at the roof.
