About the Position
As a Structural Engineering Intern for Spring 2026, you’ll become a key contributor on real projects. You’ll gain practical experience, expand your technical toolbox, and see how teamwork and creativity make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project teams with calculations, design tasks, and construction drawings for various building types
- Support the preparation of structural analysis using industry-standard engineering software
- Participate in project coordination meetings, site visits, and inspections
- Work side by side with professional engineers to gain insight into the full project lifecycle
- Learn and practice BKBM’s values of transparency, precision, and creative problem-solving
Minimum Qualifications
- Current junior or senior working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Completion of material design courses (steel, concrete, masonry, wood)
- Interest in building design, construction, and engineering challenges
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software preferred
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a vibrant team
