Provided civil and structural engineering for a five-story, 262,000 square foot, 180 unit structure consisting of four levels of wood construction on top of two levels of precast framing with one below grade level for parking.

This project also includes an additional 11,000 square foot separate retail building consisting of metal stud framing with interior structural steel beams and columns. Civil work included designing and planning for the razing of an existing elevator and mill that were located on the 3.7 acres.
When the razing was completed, BKBM designed a 1,450 lineal foot, underground stormwater treatment system that will be managed by the City of Minneapolis. Additionally, the project included the design of 183 lineal feet of new City roadway.
